We at Work Lyf Group are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our client's team and support the smooth operation of the procurement processes. As a Purchasing Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our client's supply chain runs efficiently, helping them maintain strong supplier relationships and meet the needs of our growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raising and expediting purchase orders to meet business demands
  • Communicating with suppliers via phone and email
  • Coordinating delivery schedules, managing back orders, and resolving shortages or returns
  • Matching supplier order confirmations with internal purchase orders
  • Maintaining accurate pricing and stock ordering policies
  • Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure seamless purchasing support
  • Handling ad-hoc indirect purchasing requests
  • Attending occasional face-to-face supplier meetings
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
