About the Role
Work Lyf Group are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist on behalf of our client in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in programming, setting, and operating 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centres, with confidence using multiple control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines.
- Set machines for both existing production jobs and new job setups.
- Work with Heidenhain, Siemens, Mazatrol, and Fanuc controls.
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
- Support continuous improvement within the machining process.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Proven CNC Milling Machinist experience.
- Knowledge of 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centres.
- Experience with Heidenhain, Siemens, Mazatrol, and Fanuc.
- Offline programming/CADCAM skills (advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
