Location: Stoke-on-Trent Work Lyf Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join our client's busy Production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or production experience who is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork within a fast-paced production environment.

Reporting directly to the Operations Shift Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

  • Operate and set up machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor machine performance and identify and report faults.
  • Complete production records and documentation accurately.
  • Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance activities.
  • Make minor machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the production area.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets. Candidate Requirements To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator or within a similar manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Basic IT skills, including experience with Excel and SAP.
  • Knowledge of MES systems would be advantageous.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to carry out routine checks and minor machine adjustments.
  • A Reach Forklift Truck Licence would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Working Hours This role operates on a rotating two-shift pattern, consisting of:
  • Morning Shift
