We are currently recruiting for Counterbalance Forklift Drivers / Site Operatives on behalf of a well-established business based in Hixon, Staffordshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company operating within the aluminium recycling industry, offering long-term stability and excellent earning potential.
- Shift Pattern
- 12-hour shifts
* Rotating pattern of
- 2 weeks on Days
- 2 weeks on Nights
- Monday to Thursday
- 4 days on, 3 days off
- Pay Rates
- £15.00 per hour during training
- £15.60 per hour once fully trained
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading materials and products
- Moving stock throughout the site and production areas
- Supporting the recycling and processing operations
- Carrying out general site operative duties as required
- Conducting daily forklift and equipment checks
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
- Assisting with production activities when required
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
- Experience within recycling, manufacturing, production or heavy industry would be advantageous
