The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

We are currently recruiting for a Business Support Officer. This is a part-time position, requiring 16 hours per week, specifically on Monday and Wednesday from 8am to 4:30pm. The contract is temporary for 3 months with a possible extension. The location is Leek, with travel throughout Staffordshire Moorlands and the High Peak.

We are looking for a reliable and organised Business Support Assistant to join our team at The Fowlchurch Depot in Leek. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy office environment.

In this role, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the depot team and act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries.

Working Hours: 16 hours per week, Monday & Wednesday 8am – 4:30pm (30 minute lunch)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the depot team
  • Handle customer enquiries by telephone, email, and in person
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
  • Prepare documents, spreadsheets, and reports using Microsoft Office
  • Assist with filing, data entry, and other office tasks as required
  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the depot

About You:

  • UK Driving Licence
  • Previous administrative or office experience is desirable
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Well organised with good attention to detail
  • Able to manage tasks effectively and work as part of a team
  • Reliable, professional, and proactive
