HGV Vehicle Painter
We are one of the UKs largest exporters of second-hand trucks and are looking for someone to join our busy team here in Stoke-on-Trent as a HGV painter. We will provide you with an exciting career, with full training and support given to the right candidate. In return, we need someone who is enthusiastic about kick-starting a career with us and someone who wants to grow with the business.
Job Description
We are looking for a HGV painter with a can-do attitude to join our team. You will be responsible for prepping and painting vehicles and trailers to a high standard. You will work within a team and strive towards meeting daily and weekly targets. You will be provided with all necessary personal protective equipment to allow you to complete your tasks safely. Your duties will include:
Preparing and painting commercial vehicles including trucks and trailers
Paint repair work in accordance with customer requirements
Working to a high standard and in a professional manner within a fast-paced environment
Working in accordance with all health and safety legislation
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and interested in gaining experience with us. You will be willing to meet the needs of the business and adapt when needed. Ideally you will have:
Previous experience painting HGV vehicles and trailers or similar within the motor industry
Prior experience using a sprayer and knowledge of various spraying techniques
Meticulous attention to detail
An ability to produce high-quality work
Working hours Monday to Friday 8.00am to 17.30pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 per week
