Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and enthusiastic Logistics Operative to join their busy warehouse team based in Stone. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong warehouse experience who is looking to join a supportive team within a well-established organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading vehicles, including shipping containers
- Goods-in receiving, checking and stock locating
- Stock replenishment in high-bay racking
- Picking, packing and despatching customer orders
- Maintaining accuracy and meeting productivity targets
- Using handheld scanners and completing transactions on PC systems
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures
Requirements
- GCSEs in Maths & English
- 3-5 years warehouse experience
- Experience with WMS systems (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central advantageous)
- Counterbalance forklift certificate
- Reach Truck certificate
- Good eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Bonus: Candidates with Dangerous Goods training will be highly regarded.
