Work Lyf Group is recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector on behalf of a well-established precision engineering business based in Newcastle-under-Lyme. This is a key role supporting production through accurate and efficient inspection of machined components.
The successful candidate will carry out inspections at various stages of manufacture, support CMM operations, and ensure quality standards are consistently met. The role is suited to someone with strong experience in precision engineering and confident use of PC-DMIS software.
Key Responsibilities- Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections of machined components
- Inspect parts returned from sub-contract operations
- Program and operate CMM machines using PC-DMIS software
- Produce inspection reports and maintain accurate records
- Liaise with customers on quality issues, specifications, and acceptance criteria
- Provide timely quality feedback to production teams
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and standards
- Previous experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong, proven experience using PC-DMIS software (essential)
