Full-Time, Permanent Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join their busy pallet network operation based in Welshpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused Class 2 Driver looking to join a well-established transport operation with a consistent Monday to Friday work pattern.
The Role As a Class 2 Pallet Network Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries and collections, ensuring freight is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities Complete pallet network multi-drop deliveries and collections.
Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and on schedule.
Maintain and complete all required paperwork and PODs.
Deliver a professional, friendly, and customer-focused service at all times.
Adhere to Driver Hours regulations, Working Time Directive requirements, and company policies.
Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in a roadworthy condition.
Working Hours Monday to Friday 7:00am start time 1 Saturday in every 4 required Requirements Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
Current Driver CPC qualification.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Professional and positive attitude.
