We at Work Lyf group are recruiting a Senior Lead Process Engineer for our global client based in Warrington. Salary negotiable.
Experience required in the Hygienic Liquid / Food or Beverage Process Engineering field (FMCG).
Working for a leading engineering and equipment company, the Senior Lead Process Engineer (Pre-Sales & Execution) will report to the Head of Project Execution for Non-Alcoholic Beverages (NAB) and Home/Personal Care (HPC) and will be responsible for:
- Production of designs, technical and commercial proposals and project execution (detailed designs through commissioning).
- Project management of small projects and, upon request, support and mentor less experienced engineers.
Requirements for the role:
- Food/Dairy, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
- Minimum 5 years experience in:
- Leading/Managing Process/Equipment Bids & Proposals.
- Client facing presentations / design-cost justification.
- Engineering and equipment supply for hygienic processes: food, dairy, beverage, pharma or home and personal care.
- Independently producing designs (P&IDs, mass/energy balances) from blank canvas.
- Independently and accurately calculating process capacities, equipment and piping sizes.
- Independently assessing risks and assuring compliance to QSHE rules.
- Managing small projects (scope, changes, cost, time & quality).
- Managing a small number of engineers and contractors.
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers.
Travelling: This position will require worldwide travelling, company car and fuel allowance provided after probation period.
Working hours: Hybrid working after probation period.
