We are currently recruiting for Counterbalance Forklift Drivers / Site Operatives on behalf of a well-established business based in Hixon, Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company operating within the aluminium recycling industry, offering long-term stability and excellent earning potential. Shift Pattern 12-hour shifts Rotating pattern of: 2 weeks on Days 2 weeks on Nights Monday to Thursday 4 days on, 3 days off Pay Rates £15.00 per hour during training £15.60 per hour once fully trained Key Responsibilities Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently Loading and unloading materials and products Moving stock throughout the site and production areas Supporting the recycling and processing operations Carrying out general site operative duties as required Conducting daily forklift and equipment checks Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety Assisting with production activities when required Requirements Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (preferred) Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in an industrial or manufacturing environment Ability to work rotating day and night shifts Strong awareness of health and safety procedures Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team Experience within recycling, manufacturing, production or heavy industry would be advantageous Benefits Permanent opportunity from day one Competitive hourly rate with training progression Three-day weekend every week Stable and secure employment Opportunity to develop skills within a growing industry If you are an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for a permanent role with excellent shift patterns and career prospects, we'd love to hear from you.
