Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 1 HGV Driver to join their busy pallet network operation based in Welshpool. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and professional Class 1 Driver who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service while working within a well-established transport operation.
The Role
As a Class 1 Pallet Network Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries and collections across designated routes, ensuring all loads are transported safely, efficiently, and in line with company and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out pallet network multi-drop deliveries and collections.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and PODs.
- Provide a professional, courteous, and customer-focused service.
- Comply with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and road transport legislation.
- Keep vehicles clean and roadworthy.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 7:00am start time, 1 Saturday in every 4 required.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- Current Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- A professional and positive attitude.
