Group Financial Controller

Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days in the office)

Reporting to: Finance Director

Salary: £65,000–£75,000

Alongside our Finance Director, we’re looking for a Group Financial Controller who will own the integrity of our numbers, the quality of our financial operations and the systems that sit behind them. If you’re someone who enjoys creating order, improving processes and building finance functions that people trust, this could be a brilliant opportunity.

The opportunity

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply keep the wheels turning. You’ll become the operational heartbeat of finance. You’ll own the financial control environment across the Group, ensuring every reconciliation, every month-end close, every statutory submission and every audit is delivered to an exceptionally high standard. Along the way, you’ll continuously improve how finance operates.

About you

• You’re a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• You have strong technical accounting knowledge and genuinely enjoy applying it.
• You’ve owned month-end, statutory accounts and external audits.
• You naturally spot inconsistencies before other people do.
• You enjoy improving processes rather than simply following them.
• You’re organised without becoming bureaucratic.
• You take pride in producing work that others can rely on.
• You enjoy working in fast-moving businesses where you’ll have genuine ownership.
• You see technology and automation as opportunities rather than threats.

Experience in multi-entity businesses would be helpful, but curiosity and a willingness to learn our business matter just as much.
