This is a challenging and impactful opportunity for a skilled ERP Developer to join a dynamic international team at DIANA in London.

The role seeks a talented and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Developer to leverage deep technical expertise, particularly within the Microsoft Power Platform, to modernize and optimize critical financial and procurement operations.

Responsibilities

  • Customize and configure Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, demonstrating expertise in its data structures, frameworks, and development tools such as Visual Studio and Lifecycle Services (LCS), Unified Developer Experience (UDE), and all components of the Microsoft Power Platform including Copilot Studio.

Experience with extension models and best practices for upgrades and maintainability.

  • Participate in all phases of the Dynamics 365 F&O implementation lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.

  • Develop, enhance, and stabilise core Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules including Procurement & Sourcing, Purchase Orders, Vendor Management, General Ledger, Budgeting, Payments, and Travel & Expense, ensuring reliable transaction processing, compliant approval flows, and high quality financial and procurement data.
  • Extend and enhance standard Dynamics 365 modules through customizations primarily using the MS Power Platform (including Copilot Studio) but also potentially using X++, C#, and integration patterns.

Adhere to coding standards, perform code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.

  • Design and build integrations between F&O and external systems using Power Automate, Dataverse, virtual tables, and RESTful APIs.

Ensure data integrity, security, and performance in integration solutions.

  • Create and maintain automated workflows and approval processes (using Power Automate, software Agents in Copilot studio, and native F&O workflows) that embed business rules, thresholds, compliance controls, and auditability, reducing reliance on manual spreadsheets and workarounds.
  • Design, maintain, and optimise Data Entities and Data Management Framework (DMF) pipelines for structured data import/export, reporting, and cross‑system synchronisation.

Ensure data quality and consistency for finance reporting, dashboards, and audit requirements.

  • Use the Power Platform to develop low‑code applications (Power Apps) and incorporate AI features to enhance F&O processes.

Evaluate and implement new MS Dynamics and Power Platform capabilities as they become available – especially emerging AI capabilities.

  • Customise and maintain document templates and outputs (e. g.

PO Confirmations, financial journals, reports, and exports using Word/Excel templates), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with finance and procurement requirements.

  • Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and third‑level support for new and existing Dynamics 365 applications, including performance tuning and bug fixes.

Support user training and create technical support documentation.

  • Consult with clients and end‑users on technical and functional aspects of the platform, providing guidance and recommendations for solution design and best practices.

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognized/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years post‑related experience.

Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to DX, that is, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post.

  • Proven experience developing, customizing, and supporting solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
  • Proficiency in the MS Power Platform (with particular emphasis on Copilot Studio), X++ and C# for Dynamics 365 F&O customizations and integrations.
  • Hands‑on experience with Data Entities, DMF, and structured reporting in Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Experience supporting finance and procurement approval logic, compliance requirements, and audit‑ready ERP processes.
  • Experience working closely with finance, procurement, and operational stakeholders to translate policies into system logic.
  • Experience with Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, virtual tables, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with Visual Studio and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
  • Working knowledge of Unified Developer Experience (UDE) and Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC).
  • Experience participating in all phases of ERP implementation: requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and build automated workflows and integrations between F&O and external systems using Power Platform technologies.
  • Knowledge of extension models, upgrade strategies, coding standards, and maintainability best practices.
  • Experience with unit testing, code reviews, technical documentation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Proven ability to provide maintenance, performance tuning, and third‑level support for Dynamics 365 applications.
  • Strong communication skills for consulting with clients and translating complex technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
