Join our dedicated team on Ward 19b, a 28-bedded complex care ward committed to delivering high-quality, specialised care. As a Registered Nurse, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a safe, clean, and compassionate environment. Main duties of the job:
- Provide a high standard of nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of patient care.
- Work closely with the department/ward manager and multi-disciplinary team members in monitoring and maintaining policies, standards of nursing care, staff and service development within the department/ward environment.
- Carry out all relevant forms of care under supervision and when proficient demonstrate procedures of care; supervise junior qualified and/or unqualified staff including student nurses whilst maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
- Current Acute Registered Nurse with the NMC
- Degree in Nurse related specialty or working towards
- Mentorship or teaching qualification
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Interpersonal Skills:
- Demonstrates the ability to undertake challenging conversations
- Counselling or coaching skills
Knowledge:
- Demonstrates awareness of current changes in the NHS - in particular related to Nursing
- Knowledge of clinical effectiveness, research and audit
Personal Attributes:
- Flexible
