Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and building long-term relationships? We are looking for a proactive and personable Insurance Advisor to join our growing Commercial Team at NFU Mutual Central Lancashire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with customers, managing their own portfolio and becoming a trusted point of contact for local businesses.

You will play a key role in growing and retaining SME business across a broad range of industries, working closely with colleagues, insurers and customers to provide tailored insurance solutions and high-quality advice. You will undertake a full training programme to enable you to understand and deliver NFU Mutual’s products and services.

The Role
  • Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments and customer queries
  • Build strong relationships with customers and understand their individual business needs
  • Provide tailored advice and recommendations and enhance customer protection through additional products and services
  • Handle a portfolio of commercial insurance renewals
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen customer retention and growth
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver excellent customer outcomes
  • Prepare and review documentation with a high level of accuracy, ensuring all activity is completed in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
About You
  • Sales or customer service experience in a customer facing environment is essential
  • Previous experience in a regulated environment such as insurance or financial services is preferred but not essential
  • Enjoys speaking with customers and delivering high levels of service
  • Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage workloads effectively
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and professionalism
  • Enjoys working as part of a close team environment
