Concierges required to manage London apartment blocks
Hours: 12-hour shifts from 8pm to 8am, or 8pm to 8am - available on an as and when basis initially
Duties
- To meet & greet residents and visitors ensuring the highest level of customer care.
- To ensure that all residents are properly greeted and that any message, mail, correspondence, parcels, deliveries or dry cleaning is passed to them promptly.
- To provide utmost discretion and diplomacy when dealing with residents, visitors and allmanagement matters. Confidentiality must be adhered to always.
- To work closely with management and subordinates ensuring correct reporting of any security orhealth & safety issues and relevant preventative measures are undertaken.
- To satisfy the needs of residents as politely and efficiently when it is within the jurisdiction of the concierge department to do so.
- It is important to remain mindful of boundaries and liabilities.
- Deal effectively with complaints, take the correct action and remain courteous.
- To keep a log of communal maintenance work, manage onsite contractors, report and monitor works to be carried out.
- Issuing of keys and parcels whilst maintaining accurate administrative records e. g. visitors sign in book, contractors sign in, key logs, etc.
- Ensure effective security of residents and the building, by actively monitoring CCTV cameras, hourly patrolling of the premises on foot, monitoring visitors to site and safeguarding residents by actively enforcing safety procedures.
- To work as a team and give clear and concise handover to colleagues, highlighting any events that have occurred and forthcoming events.
- To ensure that you report punctually for work, wearing the correct uniform at all times and maintaining the highest standards of personal hygiene.
- To attend training sessions or meetings as required by management.
- Assist management with other reasonable duties as requested.
- Confident communicator with good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Good team player with ability to multitask and work to deadlines
- Have an inquiring mind and willingness to learn new skills
- Good work ethic – punctual, hardworking and reliable
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
