Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare audit workpapers, findings reports, and remediation plans aligned with UK GAAP, IFRS, and internal control frameworks.
  • Support financial close processes by validating journal entries, variance analysis, and intercompany reconciliations remotely.
  • Collaborate with client finance teams to identify control gaps, recommend process improvements, and track corrective action timelines.
  • Utilize audit software (e.g., CaseWare, IDEA, ACL) to automate testing, sample transactions, and generate real‑time analytics dashboards.
  • Participate in regulatory readiness projects—including SOX, FCA, and HMRC compliance assessments—ensuring audit trails are complete and defensible.
