Are you interested in playing a key role in strengthening compliance with Scotland's building regulations and standards?
Building Standards Division is seeking a Construction Professional with practical experience in the building standards system to support high-profile work and engage with local government and construction industry stakeholders.
The division develops and maintains Scotland's building standards legislation and policy, with current priorities including strengthening the system following the Grenfell Tower Inquiry recommendations and delivering improvements through the Building Standards Futures Board programme.
In this rewarding role, you will help develop and implement policy, legislation and guidance that supports compliance with building regulations and digital development.
Working within the Development Unit, you will lead projects, collaborate with local authorities, industry stakeholders and Scottish Government colleagues, and contribute to ensuring Scotland's buildings are safe, sustainable and energy efficient.
Responsibilities
