We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our Finance Team at our HQ in Bellshill. Reporting to the Group Management Reporting and Analysis Leader, the successful candidate will provide group wide management reporting and analysis, ensuring accurate and timely information is available when required to support business decisions, meet reporting deadlines and manage processes in line with the requirements of the finance calendar.
As a vital member of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for a number of key tasks including:
- Support the planning and co-ordination of the processes as detailed within the finance calendar (budget, forecasts, corporate plan) and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data, reported in line with the deadlines of the business.
- To support in the preparation and delivery of all group management reporting outputs.
- To proactively take part in the continual improvement of all group management reporting processes.
- Delivery of periodic management accounts ensuring integrity of, and understanding behind, the results allowing business decisions to be made based on complete, accurate and timely information.
- Reconciliation of management accounts to general ledger, financial records and supporting documentation to ensure the integrity and completeness of the data.
- Act as the main point of contact support to local and regional finance teams to assist them in meeting the finance calendar deadlines and deliverables.
- Assist the review of specific business areas to understand reasons behind the key movements in the management accounts and report these clearly and concisely allowing for action to be taken.
- Provide financial support, ad hoc analysis and support project requirements across the Group as required.
