Words First is looking for motivated and enthusiastic graduate speech and language therapists to join our multi-disciplinary team consisting of Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Educational Psychologists and Play Therapists.
As a Words First Occupational Therapist you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students ranging from primary-aged to 16+, in both mainstream and specialist school settings. You will be responsible for providing assessments, therapy sessions, teacher training and support to students who have communication difficulties.

The ideal candidate must have an HCPC-approved degree in occupational therapy and be registered or in the process of registering with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience working with a paediatric caseload in a school setting is preferred. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
