Words First is seeking an experienced and dedicated Educational Psychologist to join our rapidly expanding team. As a Words First Educational Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting students, parents, and teachers within the UK school system. Your knowledge and understanding of the educational landscape will be instrumental in promoting positive learning environments and addressing the diverse needs of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' educational, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to develop tailored intervention plans and strategies.
- Offer guidance and support to teachers in implementing effective teaching strategies and accommodations for students with special educational needs.
- Contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives to enhance the overall well-being and academic success of students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the creation of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in educational psychology to inform your practice.
Qualifications:
- A recognized postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology.
