Worden Green Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturing business to find an HR Advisor who's ready to make the role their own across two busy operational sites.
About the Role
Reporting into the HR Manager, you'll be the go-to HR contact across the Burnley and Barrowford sites supporting managers and employees day to day and helping to deliver a people function that's fair, consistent, and commercially grounded.
This is a hands-on, broad generalist role. No two days will look the same, and you'll have real ownership of your remit from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances
- Managing inductions and structured onboarding check-ins at 4, 8, and 12 weeks
- Partnering with hiring managers on end-to-end recruitment
- Tracking and supporting the performance review cycle
- Coordinating mandatory and development training, including First Aid, Fire Marshal, and EHS
- Managing the occupational health relationship and health surveillance schedule
- Maintaining accurate HR records, systems, and KPI reporting
- Supporting the apprenticeship scheme and relationships with external training providers
- Owning internal HR communications and workwear coordination
What We're Looking For
- HR generalist experience within a manufacturing or similar operational environment
- CIPD qualified, or actively working towards it
- A self-starter who takes initiative and sees things through
- Strong organisational skills and comfortable managing competing priorities
- A confident communicator with a genuine commitment to fairness and consistency
The Package
- Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
