About The Role

We are currently seeking skilled, passionate, and reliable interpreters to provide remote support for individuals with limited English proficiency.

What you’ll be doing

As a remote interpreter, you will deliver vital language interpretation services to a range of organisations, particularly within the Health and Social Care sectors. Your assignments may include supporting individuals accessing services through the NHS, local councils, charities, and private businesses.

  • Georgian
  • Singhalese
  • Sinhalese
  • Soninke
  • Tetum
  • Wolof
  • British Sign Language (BSL) – Registered Sign Language Interpreters (RSLI) and Trainee Sign Language Interpreters (TSLI)

What we’re looking for

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and additional language
  • Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple assignments
  • Professionalism and enthusiasm, with a respectful and empathetic approach
  • Confidence interpreting across various environments (medical, social care, and community-based settings)
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child and Adult Workforce, with both Barred Lists). If you do not already hold one, we can assist you in completing your DBS application
  • Eligibility for self-employment in the UK

Please note: This is a self-employed position, and you’ll be responsible for your own tax registration with HMRC.
