Main Purpose of Job

We are looking for a proactive, resourceful, and persuasive Bookings Coordinator to manage booking requests for clients by securing the appropriate subcontracted interpreter. This role demands strong negotiation skills, initiative, and the ability to make strategic decisions that balance fulfilling client needs with managing interpreter availability and costs. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Actively secure availability from freelance interpreters to fulfil client requests.
  • Make informed decisions to ensure bookings are completed within budget while preserving profit margins.
  • Negotiate interpreter rates when needed to align with established pricing structures.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, professional relationships with both linguists and clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and interpreters, setting clear expectations.
