Word360 is the Midlands' largest interpreting and translation service provider, working with clients across the UK and internationally in Health, Social Care, Legal, and Private sectors. We are currently seeking experienced freelance translators who are passionate about delivering high‑quality language services that have a real and positive impact on people’s lives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing accurate, culturally appropriate written translations for a wide range of organisations, with a strong focus on the Health and Social Care sectors.
  • Your work may include documents for the NHS, local authorities, charities, and private sector clients, helping individuals access vital services and information.
  • Translating written content accurately and fluently from the source language into your native language.
  • Preserving the original tone, intent, and meaning while ensuring cultural and contextual relevance.
  • Collaborating with project managers to meet deadlines and deliver high‑quality work.
  • Following industry standards, confidentiality requirements, and best practices at all times.

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional translation experience or a relevant translation degree from a recognized institution.
  • Proven experience translating medical and/or legal content.
  • Proficiency with CAT tools and translation management systems.
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
  • Native‑level fluency in the target language.
  • Based in the UK or EU.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate (or European equivalent), or willingness to obtain one.
