Word360 is an award‑winning tech‑enabled translation and interpreting company that specialises in working within the health and social care sectors supporting large organisations with their communication needs. Our clients include the NHS, local authorities, and other public sector clients.

At Word360 you will be selling services that help people access health and care through our translation and interpreting services and technologies. As we step into a new phase of growth, you will be taking over the helm to develop and lead the sales drive. You will be required to leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to see the benefits of our services through clear sales funnels. You will anticipate how decisions are made to create partnership opportunities and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of key clients. Working with them, you will use your powers of persuasion to educate them as to how our products and services will positively impact their business.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Have a deep knowledge of, and skilled in selling solutions into the healthcare sector.
  • Ability to sell services and products using a consultative sales approach.
  • Develop, maintain, and rebuild relationships with lapsed, lost and new customers through sales such as telephone calls, emails, face‑to‑face meetings.
  • Analyse sales data to understand client needs, existing pain points, and opportunities for business development.
  • Be confident to sell into the Public Sector such as NHS and local authorities.
  • Prepare proposals and support the bid team in tendering for new opportunities.
  • Build, manage and maintain the sales pipeline and ensure that all pipeline activity is accurately documented and kept up to date.
  • Represent the business at trade shows, networking events and exhibitions to generate leads.
  • Identify and develop partnerships for our services and technologies with targeted opportunities.

Skills and Attributes Required

  • 5 years+ of experience in Sales and Business Development.
  • Experience of selling to the NHS, Public Sector, Mid and Large cap enterprise required.
  • Experience of selling to procurement and senior management.
  • Ideally experience of selling SaaS products.
  • Working knowledge of using HubSpot Sales or similar CRM.
  • Proven sales experience, together with an excellent record of achieving targets and winning clients.
  • Initiative to spot and seek out new opportunities.
  • Creativity and ‘outside the box’ thinking.
  • Self‑driven and results‑oriented with a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – Outstanding phone manner, customer service skills and command of English.
