Location: Worcestershire County Cricket Club, New Road, Worcester, WR2 4QQ and Kidderminster Cricket Club, Chester Road, Kidderminster, DY10 1TH
Contract term: Full time, fixed term for 6 months from April to September

Purpose of the Role: We are currently looking to recruit two Seasonal Grounds-people to work as part of a small team for the duration of the Cricket season. A key element of the role will be supporting the Head Grounds Person and the other members of the Grounds Department in preparing playing surfaces, practice areas and outfields of the highest quality at our iconic New Road ground and at Kidderminster Cricket Club, in the event of flooding at New Road.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of the playing surfaces, outfield and practice and net areas to ensure that they are of a first-class cricket standard.
- Assisting with placing and removing covering and surface water from the playing area for all matches.
- Operating and maintaining ground equipment in accordance with standard operating and safety procedures.
- Assisting with the erection of nets and other practice facilities.
- Assisting with the cutting of grass car parks and picnic area.
- Taking direction from the Head Grounds Person and Head of Operations to fulfil any other reasonable request or duties required.

Essential:

- A clean driving licence
- A pitch or turf care qualification
- Experience of preparing cricket pitches
You will need to have the Right to Work in the UK or be able to obtain this by the start date. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
Benefits Hours, benefits and salary: This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 5 days. This will include working some evenings and weekends. The salary for this role is £13,250.
