An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and highly organised Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the CEO and Chair of the Board of Directors at Worcestershire County Cricket Club. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the executive office, managing day-to-day responsibilities and facilitating high-level decision-making.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO and Chair of the Board, managing calendars, arranging meetings, and handling scheduling conflicts with diplomacy and efficiency.
- Prepare and organise materials for meetings, presentations, and events, ensuring the CEO and Chair are briefed and well-prepared.
- Act as note-taker at key meetings, including monthly Board meeting.
- Act as a liaison between the CEO, board members, key personnel and other high-profile stakeholders.
- Oversee email and correspondence management, prioritising and drafting responses, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Support with the planning and organisation of key corporate events throughout the year.
- Plan and arrange access to home and away Boardrooms on match days.
- Arrange detailed travel itineraries, accommodations, and transportation for domestic and international trips, ensuring all aspects are aligned with the CEO's and Chair's schedules.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information, handling financial documents, contracts, and other critical files.
- Provide admin support to various key personnel, including expense management.

Person Specification:It is expected that the successful candidate will possess the following:
Experience:- Previous experience as an executive assistant is essential, with experience supporting C-suite executives preferred.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and professionalism.
- High level of discretion and professionalism, with demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing demands in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Proactive & Solution-Oriented: Anticipates needs and takes initiative to address challenges before they arise.
- Adaptable & Resilient: Thrives in a high-pressure environment and maintains composure in the face of shifting priorities.

You will need to have the Right to Work in the UK or be able to obtain this by the start date. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
Benefits:This is a part-time role working 16 hours per week. Ideally, this would be over 4 mornings each week. This role is office based. The exact times of work can be varied depending on the candidate and needs of the business, but the Executive Assistant must be available to take minutes at the Club board meeting, held once per month and usually on a Monday afternoon. This role will include working some occasional evenings and weekends during the busy Cricket season. The salary for this role is £13,000 per annum.
