Performance Services is a multifunctional team which provides a blend of project and change management, executive support, and business intelligence support across the council. The Programme, Project and Change Management element of the team supports a wide range of transformational activities, using various methodologies which are adapted to suit each project to deliver benefits, productivity, efficiencies and changes to the way we work or deliver services.

We are looking for a highly self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to support a wider programme team on key priorities such as our corporate transformation programme and Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) readiness. This role will be integral to the delivery of a broad programme of transformation and change activities. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and be able to develop skills and experiences across project and change management.

Successful candidates will be able to tangibly demonstrate experience and ability to meet the person specification criteria, in particular:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of working with a range of stakeholders/customers internal and external at varying levels of seniority
  • Experience of managing conflicting priorities
  • Ability to efficiently organise, analyse and interpret/collect complex information to produce and present to a variety of audiences
