We are seeking to appoint a Governor Services professional. The role is part‑time, term‑time only, and offered on a 1‑year temporary contract. The position is open to appointment or a secondment arrangement if preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with School Improvement to support Governing Boards in achieving better outcomes for young people in Worcestershire.
- Develop and deliver highly effective support and advice to Governing Boards.
- Answer queries, manage databases, and manage communication via SLA arrangements.
- Liaise with the WCC Traded team to organise training opportunities and with the School Improvement team to ensure Governors fulfil their core functions.
- Influence the CPD, advice, and services offered to Governing Boards.
Qualifications
- Experienced, skilled and committed in the field of school governance.
- Ability to work flexibly within part‑time hours or alongside existing commitments.
