The Worcester Whitehouse Hotel is a 4 star, 84 bedroom hotel right in the heart of the historic city centre of Worcester. Built in the 16th century, this classic townhouse hotel is adjacent to Foregate Street train station and a short walk to many local attractions including the Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum. The hotel is perfectly located for both leisure and business guests, offering great conference and event facilities for up to 120 delegates, wedding facilities and a leisure club.

We are looking for a dependable and proactive Assistant Night Manager to support the Night Manager in overseeing hotel operations during the night shift. You will help ensure guest satisfaction, safety, and smooth functioning of all departments until the morning team arrives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Night Manager in supervising all hotel operations during the night shift
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and emergencies promptly and professionally
  • Support front desk activities, including late check-ins and early check-outs
  • Monitor security systems and conduct regular patrols to maintain safety
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to resolve night-time issues
  • Help prepare nightly reports and ensure accurate handovers to the day team
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and emergency procedures throughout the night
  • Maintain detailed logs of incidents, guest interactions, and operational matters
  • Provide leadership and support to night shift staff, promoting excellent service standards
Hours of Work

32 hours per week; 4 x 8 hour shifts, 30 minute break per shift, 10:45 pm – 7:15 pm
