JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
As part of the User Success and Experience team, the Project Manager I will assist in coordinating projects initiated from different functional areas at WPI.
They will work closely with key stakeholders and project team members while utilizing project management processes and best practices from project pre-inception through closure with effective transition to support.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to project planning and scheduling.
- Assist in defining project milestones, tasks, and resource requirements.
- Assist in establishing project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
- Organize and facilitate stakeholder and project team meetings.
- Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, and status.
- Assess project risks and issues and propose solutions and mitigation plans.
- Facilitate change requests and ensure all parties are informed of the impacts on project plans and schedules.
- Assist in submitting project deliverables and ensuring they adhere to quality standards.
- Obtain stakeholder acceptance of project deliverables.
- Coordinate the development of training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful project implementation.
- Manage customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
- Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Degree in business, administration, or a related field required.
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, analysis, or management.
- Working knowledge of standard project management practices.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Salary Grade 7: $62,500 – $70,720 per year (depending on experience)
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
