JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
When a vacancy occurs, WPI Athletics will seek part-time assistant coaches for our various varsity sport teams. Interested candidates need to complete the appropriate applicant information online. The department will directly contact those applicants that are under strong consideration.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary duty is to assist the head coach in providing leadership and direction for all aspects of the varsity sport program, including creating a culture of compliance with NCAA rules and regulations as well as WPI policies and procedures. This includes maintaining positive public relations for the program, department, and WPI, while serving as a role model for student-athletes in and out of competition. Assist in preparing student-athletes for competition while providing an educational environment that enhances their development. We encourage a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Collegiate coaching experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid/EAD certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
