Job Summary: Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach day, evening, and/or online classes for the Department of Computer Science. Positions are created to build an applicant pool and will be filled on an as-needed basis. Start dates vary by course and semester.
Responsibilities: Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses on campus, off-campus in corporate settings, or online. Areas of interest include Foundations of Computer Science, Algorithms, Software Engineering, Object-Oriented Design, Interface Design, Artificial Intelligence, and introductory courses emphasizing languages such as Racket/Scheme, Python, Java, and C/C++.
Qualifications: An advanced degree in Computer Science or related field with significant practical experience. Successful teaching experience at undergraduate or graduate levels is preferred. Ability to teach in other areas is also valued.
