Job Responsibilities:
The Admissions and Outreach Officer will support the delivery of Worcester College's undergraduate admissions and widening participation work. Working closely with the Senior Admissions and Outreach Officer and academic colleagues, the role involves coordinating key aspects of the annual admissions cycle, managing applicant communications and data, supporting Open Days and outreach events, and contributing to reporting and compliance processes. The post-holder will also help deliver the College's access initiatives, work with student ambassadors and tutors, and represent the College at University and external events.
Person Specification Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and organised individual who is committed to educational equality and widening access. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or have equivalent experience) and will bring experience of working in admissions, outreach or within a Higher Education environment. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational ability, and the confidence to manage competing priorities effectively. The role requires someone who is comfortable working with data and IT systems, able to use their initiative, and equally at ease contributing positively within a collaborative team environment. Knowledge of Oxford admissions processes, the UK school system, or outreach evaluation would be advantageous.
