OVERALL PURPOSE: This role is an integral part of the Research and Development team, responsible for delivering the core gas boiler platform for the UK and wider European markets. The role will focus on improving the current successful Greenstar 4000 and also specifying the Next Generation of product for the UK and European market.
This role will support the Product Owner working closely with a team of engineers as well as product managers from multiple markets in delivering the exceptional, feature-rich and cost-effective solution expected of the lead product for Worcester Bosch.
SCOPE OF ROLE:
- To work in close cooperation with the Product Owner for the C4000 series of internationally sold gas boilers
- Collaborate effectively with national, international colleagues, stakeholders and the Project Steering Committee
- Utilisation of Agile techniques in order to ensure transparency, create higher customer satisfaction and increased project control
- Supporting the management and maintenance of the product series for both legacy and future products
- Supporting with strategic planning for future product ranges including zero carbon technologies
- Driving forward ratio and quality improvements for the product series
- Running and facilitating meetings and workshops
- Supporting Director of Engineering on department tasks if needed

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel
- Highly organised, motivated, result focused with a strong attention to detail
- Open, approachable person who can work well together with other people inside and outside own department
- Degree qualified, ideally a technical qualification or equivalent experience in a technical role.
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES: 39 hours per week with flexible working pattern. As an international company there may be possibilities to travel, therefore must be open to domestic and international travel.
