We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our After sales department as an Advanced Apprentice Financial Analyst! The role is within the Service Department of Worcester Bosch which employs nearly 500 people. This role is to assist in analysing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing insights to enhance the financial performance of our aftersales operations. Also support in the review, approval and signing off partner invoices.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Senior Financial Analyst of the department in the preparation and analysis of financial reports related to aftersales operations, including service revenue, warranty claims and profitability.
  • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analysing relevant data.
  • Conducting variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgeted figures, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Helping maintain financial models and tools used for financial planning and analysis.
  • Collaborating with the aftersales team to gather data and insights that inform financial decision-making.
  • Preparing presentations and reports for management, summarising key findings and recommendations.
  • Assisting in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to evaluate operational efficiency.
  • Participating in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required by the finance team.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Supporting in the development of pricing strategies for aftersales services and products by gathering information and insights.
  • Fostering a positive working relationship with the controlling partner to offer local insights into the department's daily operations.
  • Supporting the review and approval process for partner invoices.

Education requirements: Degree in one of the following areas would be beneficial: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Data Science.

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunch break.
