Major Projects – Project Manager Location: Farnborough / Hybrid About the Company A leading global provider of digital enablement and collaboration technology solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Major Projects team. The company works with some of the world’s largest organisations, delivering cutting-edge audiovisual (AV) systems and award-winning managed services. The Role As a Project Manager within the Major Projects division, you will lead both pre-sales and delivery phases for large-scale AV systems integration projects. You’ll play a key role in developing RFP responses, providing delivery estimates, and presenting delivery strategies to clients and consultants. Once awarded, you will take full ownership of the project delivery lifecycle — ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You will manage all aspects of complex AV projects, coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: * Lead AV systems integration projects, ensuring delivery meets time, scope, budget, quality, and safety requirements. * Support pre-sales activities, including project delivery estimation, project planning, and preparation of RFP responses. * Contribute to RFP presentations, sharing project delivery methodologies and execution plans. * Provide subject matter expertise to support employee development. * Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural drawings. * Direct on-site personnel and activities, managing subcontractors and suppliers as required. * Organise internal project kick-off meetings with relevant stakeholders. * Create and manage detailed project schedules and coordinate resources effectively. * Act as the main point of contact for all internal and external project communications and documentation. * Provide regular project progress updates to stakeholders. * Acquire daily site reports and respond to project needs. * Coordinate the ordering, distribution, and shipping of materials and equipment. * Manage internal and external project change orders. * Ensure all work meets quality standards and oversee system testing and certification. * Facilitate client training on installed systems. * Maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with company guidelines. * Address project-related queries promptly. * Travel to project sites as required.
