The Role
We are seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join our technical delivery and support team. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, servicing, and repair of LED display systems across the UK and mainland Europe. The role combines hands‐on technical work with the opportunity to influence installation standards and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Install LED systems, including rigging, cabling, mounting, and commissioning.
Configure and calibrate LED control systems, processors, and related AV components.
Collaborate with project managers, customers, and subcontractors.
Provide on‐site and remote post-installation support.
Supervise junior engineers or third-party contractors when required.
Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and technical issues.
Ensure health and safety compliance on‐site.
Contribute to continuous improvement of installation processes.
Requirements
5+ years\’ experience in AV or LED display installation and servicing.
Strong technical knowledge of LED systems, power, data, and signal distribution.
Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate on-site teams.
Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally mainland Europe.
Full clean UK driving licence.
Desirable
Experience with major LED brands (e.g. Absen, AOTO, LG, Samsung, Unilumin).
Certifications such as ECS, IPAF, PASMA, CSCS.
Knowledge of AV control systems and LED configuration tools.
Reside within 60 minutes of the headquarters.
