What You'll Do

  • Lead the kitchen team with confidence, creating a positive, collaborative culture.
  • Take full ownership of fresh food preparation, ensuring every dish leaves the pass to a consistently high standard.
  • Design and develop seasonally inspired menus, using the best local produce and current food trends.
  • Maintain strict food safety standards and ensure the kitchen is always clean, organised, and compliant.
  • Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff in fresh food techniques, efficiency, and hygiene.
  • Control stock and ordering, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly without waste.
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.
  • Monitor performance and service quality, making ongoing improvements to raise the bar.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen role in a fresh food-led kitchen.
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to training and teamwork.
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal cooking and a strong eye for presentation and detail.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally with the FOH team.
  • Culinary qualifications are welcome, but experience, attitude, and passion are key.
