To provide support to Nursery pupils in line with the National Curriculum, codes of practice and school policies and procedures. Duties include:
- Establishing positive relationships with pupils
- Supporting pupils with activities which support literacy and numeracy skills
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping keep pupils on track
- Assisting with displaying and presenting pupils' work
- Assisting with taking pupils on educational visits
Able to build a positive rapport and exercise patience and consistency - Kind, caring and compassionate
- Experience with, or a love of, working with young people
- An awareness of commitment to equality
- Basic understanding of health and safety
