The teaching assistant role will be supporting the children and their learning under the direction of the class teacher. Previous experience would be an advantage although training can be provided. The midday supervisor role includes setting up, serving meals, clearing away the day’s lunches, supervising the children whilst they eat and then inside or outside during their playtime. The role will require the successful candidate to meet the needs of every child and may include providing personal and intimate care in a respectful, dignified, and sensitive manner, supporting each child's comfort, wellbeing, and independence.

Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 12.00pm, 1.00pm to 3.45pm (includes a 30 minute unpaid break – 5.75 hours a day). Midday Supervisor – 5 per week: 12.00pm to 1.00pm Monday to Friday.

Teaching Assistant: Level B1 – FTE £25,583 (actual annual salary £17,250.71). Midday Supervisor: Level A1 – FTE £25,185 (actual annual salary £2,953.45). Combined hours per week: 33.75. Combined actual annual salary: £20,204.16. Job share considered – full days only.
