Responsibilities

  • Work under the guidance of the teacher to support teaching and learning activities within the classroom.
  • Provide general assistance to the class teacher in managing and organising pupils with additional educational needs.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote inclusion for all pupils, ensuring they have equal access to learning and opportunities for development.
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in the school.
