We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of Sociology, Psychology & Criminology to join our successful Humanities and Social Sciences faculty. The postholder would teach all social sciences and potentially other Humanities including RE, History and Geography. All subjects are very popular in our school and many of our students progress to pursue Social Science related degrees in higher education.
The ideal candidate will empower students to understand the complexities of human behaviour and social structures, cultivate curiosity, empathy, and analytical thinking and help to shape the future of our students through engaging and thought-provoking teaching.
The school offers an extensive support programme, including mentor/buddy system, Initial Teacher Training support for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or for those seeking Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS), a system of twilight training sessions, as well as excellent development opportunities.
