We are seeking an innovative and motivated Teacher of Art with a passion for their subject and a strong commitment to raising standards for all learners. The Art department provides an excellent learning experience for students, enhanced by a wide range of enriching opportunities and trips. The team takes pride in students' successes, fostering a supportive learning environment and delivering creative, forward-thinking teaching.

Depending on experience, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Art across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The ability to offer a second subject would be advantageous. This post is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT).

  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Nursery wrap around provision for staff members with children at SMSJ, staff are allocated a place for their children (in line with The School's Admissions Policy)
