To start as soon as possible, we are looking to appoint a dynamic Careers Lead who will work closely with the Head of PSHE, Head of 6th Form and Pastoral and SEND Teams, to ensure that the Careers Programme at the school meets the individual needs of our students and our statutory responsibilities (including meeting the Gatsby Benchmarks). The successful candidate will hold, or be prepared to work towards, a Level 6 or above qualification in Career Guidance and Development. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a well established and very successful part of the school. In this role, you will work with colleagues across the school to make a substantial difference to students’ futures.

Training will be given in the school’s specific IT software, but the successful candidate will need to be able to use Word, Excel and PowerPoint confidently, competently and accurately.

Pro-rated Actual Salary £18,699-£20,711

30 hours per week (work pattern to be agreed)

39 weeks per year (term time only plus 5 INSET/training days)

All King’s School support staff are eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme, which is a defined benefit scheme, under which the school contributes 19.6% of an individual’s salary.
