We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant and Breakfast Club Assistant to join our Friendly team at South Farnham School (Infants) This is a rewarding dual-role position that combines supporting pupil's learning throughout the school day with helping to deliver a safe, welcoming and engaging Breakfast Club each morning. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's academic, social and emotional development while ensuring pupil's start their day positively and ready to learn. Working Hours
- Breakfast Club Assistant : 07:45am - 08:45am
- Teaching Assistant: 08:50 am - 15:05pm
- Supporting teaching and learning activities under the direction of the class teacher.
- Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Supporting pupil's social, emotional and behavioural development.
- Encouraging independence, confidence and positive attitudes to learning.
- Preparing and organising classroom resources.
- Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive and simulating learning environment.
- Supervising and supporting pupils during Breakfast Club.
- Ensuring children enjoy a healthy, positive start to the school day.
- Leading or facilitating simple games, activities and social opportunities during Breakfast Clubs.
- Ensuring the wellbeing, safety and safeguarding of all pupils at all times.
- Working effectively as part of the wider school team.
Enjoys working with children and building positive relationships. - Is patient, caring and enthusiastic.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is reliable, organised and flexible.
- Can promote positive behaviour and inclusion.
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality.
- Has relevant experience working with children, and planning and leading teaching and learning activities.
