The King Edmund School is looking to appoint a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team and play an important role in supporting teaching and learning across our secondary school., As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain focused, engaged and on task with the work set by their teachers. You will help maintain a positive learning environment, promote good behaviour and ensure that learning continues with minimal disruption., The school offers an extensive support programme, including mentor/buddy system, Initial Teacher Training support for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or for those seeking Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS), a system of twilight training sessions, as well as excellent development opportunities.
