About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join our friendly and long-established Residential Property Team. We are a traditional high street law firm with over 100 years of experience serving families, individuals, and businesses. We do not pay referral fees, our work mainly comes from loyal repeat clients and personal recommendations, allowing our conveyancers to focus on quality work, client care, and seeing matters through properly. This role would suit someone looking to move to a more balanced, client-focused practice. You’ll manage your own residential conveyancing caseload with the support of experienced support staff and a modern case management system.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload including sales, purchases, remortgages, leasehold matters, right to buy, and transfers of equity
- Providing clear, practical advice and guiding clients through their transaction in a friendly, approachable way
- Reviewing title documents, searches, and mortgage offers
- Preparing and checking legal documentation
- Ensuring lender requirements are met in line with CML and BSA Handbooks
- Working in line with CQS standards and realistic timescales
- Working closely with and supporting conveyancing support staff
- Building strong working relationships with estate agents and other professionals
- Reporting directly to the Head of Conveyancing
